Michelangelo took four years to paint the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel, but we’re pretty sure it could have been done in half the time if Courtnei had managed the project. What’s more, it would have looked better and been on budget. For almost a decade Courtnei has used her superior organizational skills to build strong relationships with her clients who have come to rely on her brand development expertise, extensive knowledge of B2C marketing and ability to provide strategic solutions that enhance consumer engagement.

Courtney may be an award-winning designer celebrated for her creative versatility and precision, but she’s also a delight to work with. She has over five years of experience across print and digital design, mastering tools like Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Figma. Known for his quick wit and one-liners, Noel is a brand specialist with over 25 years of experience in advertising and marketing. His storytelling prowess, strategic thinking, and creative problem-solving has helped major brands like Coca-Cola, WestJet, Calgary Stampede, and Bayer. His work has garnered recognition from esteemed organizations, including Ad Rodeo, Applied Arts, and NAMA. A seasoned listener and collaborator, Noel consistently delivers impactful narratives that connect with audiences locally and globally. When he’s not crafting memorable lines, he can be found strumming his guitar.  

Nadia is dedicated to ensuring the team has everything it needs to keep moving at warp speed. With expertise in managing schedules and coordinating meetings, assisting with accounting and managing benefits, she supports overall operational efficiency. She creates a welcoming environment for client visits and hosted events. When she's not helping Vera Causa stay on the trail, she can often be found helping dozens of girls develop life skills as a longtime Girl Guides volunteer.

Lexi is highly creative, nimble, and able to capture and create content in some of the wildest places. She discovered her passion for storytelling during a month abroad in Ireland, where she also fell for soda bread. Lexi received the 2017 Canadian Association of Journalism Student Excellence Award and the 2018 Emerge Media Award for her work on Closing Midfield. With corporate and agency experience, Lexi has created campaigns for brands like Baby Gourmet, ATB Financial, and Hillberg & Berk.

Never one to colour inside the lines, Alan leads the conceptual process at Vera Causa, backed by over 30 years in the business. He’s worked on big brands from Toronto to Calgary and across every single industry you can imagine. Clients on his resume include; Freedom 55 Financial, Bayer, RBC, FMC, Nutrien, Alberta Beef, and many more. Alan has never settled for easy or obvious, he is a master of his craft through and through. When he’s not conceptualizing ad campaigns for his clients he’s sketching his now infamous Hummygoo comic strip, building a temporary tattoo empire or painting.
